Privacy Policy
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not request, collect, transmit, or store any of the following personal information:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or physical address
- Government identification numbers or financial information
- Passwords, PINs, or account credentials
- Contacts, SMS messages, call logs, photos, media files, microphone audio, or precise GPS location
This app requests zero runtime permissions. It cannot access your camera, contacts, microphone, or location.
2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following preferences are stored only in local storage (Android DataStore) on your device and never leave your phone:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Saved coaster track codes (#t=...) and preset bookmarks | So your bookmarked coasters remain available when you reopen the game |
| View toggles (3D Track, Pillars, Mini-Map), sound, haptics, and language settings | To remember your gameplay preferences |
| Launch counter, ad frequency pacing timestamps, and rewarded ad-free timer | To limit ad frequency and honor earned ad-free time |
| Cached remote ad configuration JSON | So the app starts quickly and respects ad settings offline |
You can erase all local data at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings or uninstalling the app.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
This game is free to play and supported by advertisements served via the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) Next-Gen SDK. To display, measure, and cap advertisements, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Your device's Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
- Basic device diagnostics and specifications (device model, OS version, screen size, language)
- Coarse location inferred from IP address (country or region level)
- Ad interaction events (impressions and ad clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy & Terms.
Your Privacy Choices
- In regions where consent is required (such as the EEA and UK), the app presents a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form before initializing or requesting any ads. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time via Settings → Ad Privacy Choices inside the app.
- You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads.
4. Network Requests
- Remote Ad Configuration: The app fetches a lightweight JSON configuration file over HTTPS (`https://halodek.web.id/gas/doodlecoaster.json`) to manage ad unit availability and frequency caps without requiring an app update. This request sends no personal data.
- Ad Delivery: Standard HTTPS requests made by the Google Mobile Ads SDK as described above.
- Privacy Policy Link: Tapping the Privacy Policy button in Settings opens this page in your external browser.
All network traffic uses encrypted HTTPS; cleartext HTTP traffic is disabled at the Android platform level.
5. Sharing Coasters & Saving Images
When you tap Share Coaster or Save Image after a ride, the app uses Android's built-in system Share Sheet (`Intent.ACTION_SEND`) and a temporary cache file via `FileProvider`. Nothing is uploaded automatically; you choose whether and where to share or save.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Because we do not operate user accounts or store personal data on our servers, there is no server-side profile to delete. Uninstalling the app or clearing app storage immediately deletes all locally stored tracks and preferences.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at this same URL with an updated effective date.
